You may think, what does this have to do with investing and property.
Read on.
Have you tried taking regular cold showers or plunging yourself in an iced bath?
When investing and doing property, the main purpose is to improve our circumstances, profits, the benefits we can get for ourselves and others dear to us.
Does investing sound comfortable? It is, in 50% of the cases, not so comfortable, unless you are a seasoned investor.
Change and taking risks means having a certain mindset. To improve our lives, we most often need to do things differently. Adopting new habits. New ways of thinking can help our brain rewire and create a more daring self, which will benefit us in many ways. Taking actions encourages us to take more actions, which is the only way we can make things happen.
Cold baths and cold showers are not for everyone and you should probably check with a doctor before trying if you have any medical conditions for instance. You should check what is safe to do and the way to do it. In most cases, if you are simply taking a cold shower at the end of your shower, this shouldn’t be too uncomfortable and you will most probably stop once you have had enough of being under the cold.
There has been some hype about cold iced baths recently. You can see a lot of celebrities, athletes, famous business women and men who have adopted the habit.
Why? Because it is meant to be beneficial for your body, immune system, energy level … The most import aspect, for some, is that, as it can feel uncomfortable at first, it can prove yourself that you are able to do it anyways. It is a small action but it is also some important action. Not everyone is able to do it. Not everyone is able to take actions to change their lives. Taking a cold shower doesn’t cost any money, nor any additional time, so theoretically, everyone should be able to do it. What it takes is some will power, not everyone is ready to leave a comfortable state, do something challenging to get to the next stage or to an even more comfortable state.
